When you are looking for an activation that parents will travel to your vicinity for , you can’t go past one that keeps their kids occupied and busy and is comfortable enough for them to relax in. This is one of the reasons why we feel The Big Build, our latest School Holiday offering generated so much goodwill and social media chitter chatter!
Activating in a vacant tenancy meant that this Big Build could go even bigger. With so much space, families felt welcome enough and more importantly, we had room enough for some kids to stay and play for a couple of hours!
To broaden the appeal to a wider age range, we included smaller ‘mini build’ brick tables and dramatic play elements for the little ones and got the older kids interested with our building challenges.
The space was styled as a colourful village and dotted with bright blocks for parents to sit on whilst their budding architects worked on their constructions!
Two Educators were on hand throughout the school holiday activation to play with the children, help inspire their creations and make sure that the room did not end up as a demolition site! Some of their larger construction projects were Geelong’s largest cubby house and a giant wall (Images on our Facebook page!)
Dads had particular fun with this activation with children being the ones to have to drag them out of the activity, lest the dads would have spent all day in there!
Repeat custom was high for this vacant tenancy activation and we received extra brownie points for only giving the kids cool memories to take home and no ‘beautiful craft creations’ to bring back to display at home!
