Bubble Room Activation
With the theme of water and a large vacant tenancy to activate in the city, The Events Company created ‘Bubble Room’ a tranquil space bursting with huge inflatable bubbles.
The white inflatable bubbles were custom made to fit a light stick in order for the bubble to ‘glow’. Ginormous translucent 2m bubbles were also added to the mix and filled with light sticks which moved as the kids pushed the bubble around.
The space was drenched in a blue light, wrapped in white from floor to ceiling and was immersed in the sound of bubbling water.
The tenancy was activated for kids age 3 – 10 years, but was also enjoyed by toddlers and adults.
Whilst the space was occupied by younger children, parents had the opportunity to relax in large inflatable blue chairs, whilst their little ones peacefully explored the space. At times when the age of the room was older, the space was a little more ‘playful’.
The attraction was staffed by two educators who adapted and engaged with the children depending on how they interpreted the space. This included games of hide and seek, relocating large bubbles, placing all of the illuminated bubble separate to the others…the possibilities were endless and the imagination of the kids huge!
